“Diario de una Ninfomana”

The celebration ended, officially.

Spent the last few hours of Chinese New Year playing mahjong, coffee brought me no luck and the caffeine kicked in a little too late.

Wouldn’t want to lie in bed restlessly waiting to fall asleep, and be a nuisance for both the bitch and the man, I looked through the list of movies I downloaded illegally over the past few months.

Look what I found.

Now, be nice and say Hi to my new imaginary sex partner.

Leonardo Sbaraglia

The voice. The facial hair. The mild frown. The possessive rich fucker.

I am aroused.

I froze in terror —
replaying the words you spoke
longing for mistakes

Wake up in the middle of the night.

Get out of bed.

Walk to the washroom.

Take a piss.

Get back to bed.

Get out of bed again.

Walk towards your bed.

Admire your facial hair.

Kiss you on your cheek.

Smell your hair.

Smile.

Get back to my bed.

Gong Xi Fa Chai

On the first day of Chinese New Year I woke up at 12:35.

Sitting at the edge of my bed, I closed my eyes and rewind.

72 hours ago I was in the city of angels, on the 63th floor of the State Tower, overlooking Silom from the Sky Bar.

60 hours ago I was at the airport, countless hugs and kisses woven between tears and shivery hands, I took 3 wrong entrances.

36 hours ago I was at the train station, as I open my mouth I speak Thai, the train conductor asked me if I can write him my facebook contact on his palm.

24 hours ago the whole place outside my house turned into a war zone with sights of fire and explosions, I comforted my dog, after I left my heart in a pit.

12 hours ago I fell asleep in my room with the lights on and air-cond and fan off. Waking up with my pillow wet, I cannot tell whether it was sweat or late night tears.

Feeling a little bit lost, a little hopeless, a little stupid, a little ambivalent. Reminds me of Memento.

Natalie : What’s the last thing that you do remember?
Leonard : My wife…
Natalie : That’s sweet.
Leonard : …dying.
